Reporting to:  Studies Coordinator – Languages

St Pius X College, Chatswood is seeking to appoint an experienced, energetic, contemporary, and innovative practitioner to teach French.  The successful applicant will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. The successful applicant would have a willingness to assist in developing programs for the new Language curriculum.

The successful applicant will:

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School;
  • Be supportive of the Edmund Rice ethos of the College;
  • Be characterised by a high standard of competency, professionalism, organisational proficiency and enthusiasm;

Casual PD/H/PE Teacher

Position: Casual PD/H/PE Teacher 20 April – 10 August 2021

Level: Year 7-10

St Pius X College, Chatswood is seeking to appoint an experienced, energetic, contemporary, and innovative practitioner to teach PD/H/PE on a casual basis every Tuesday during Term 2 and part of Term 3 with the opportunity of additional casual work as required by the College.  The successful applicant will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

Maintenance Officer

Maintenance Officer

The College requires a Maintenance Officer to join its Maintenance team.  This position involves general maintenance including the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, rooms and grounds, ensuring that equipment is functional and adhering to WHS guidelines.

Experience in property maintenance and ground keeping are essential.  Good communication skills are also required.  WHS qualifications, a current CPR/First Aid Certificate, a Heavy Rigid Vehicle driver’s licence and trade qualifications (specifically plumbing) are advantageous.  Start date is negotiable.
