Vale Mr Anthony Timmins Class of 1984

Passing of Performing Arts Coordinator Mr Anthony Timmins
31/3/1967 – 17/10/2022
It is with deep sadness that we share the tragic news that Mr Anthony Timmins, Performing Arts Coordinator, suffered a serious medical episode on Monday October 17 and as a result passed away.
We know Anthony as a most loving and dedicated husband to Catherine, and father to Bridget and Daniel. The Timmins family have had a long connection with the College and the local community.
Anthony’s incredible talent as a musician, and his expertise as a College leader will be sorely missed. We have certainly lost an extraordinary teacher, leader and friend. Anthony was an Old Boy of the Class of 1984. He was College Vice Captain and a fine all-rounder – good at academics, sport and music. He served as a member of College staff, as a Band Conductor and teacher, from 1989 until 1995. He returned as the Music Coordinator from 2003 until 2007. Anthony again rejoined the College in 2020 as Performing Arts Coordinator. Further acknowledgments of his outstanding contribution to the College and the musical community will be forthcoming.
There is much sadness in the school.
The College has offered a variety of supports including counselling to all in our community. We offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to Anthony’s family and many friends.
Anthony was a fine man and his loss will be keenly felt by many people.
