Purpose of Bibliographies
A bibliography :
- allows you to acknowledge the sources of information
in your assignment. If you present someone else's
knowledge as your own, it is called plagiarism.
- allows the marker to see the range of resources
you used
- allows readers of your assignment to verify facts
- also allows others to find further reading on the
topic
- shows if authorities on a subject have been considered
- allows you to check back on information you have
presented in your assignment
