Apollo

Greek Mythology is collection of traditional stories which reflect the culture and beliefs of Ancient Greece. These stories were originally told orally and were by unknown authors. When stories are told orally there are often changes over time and this results in differences in stories, depending on the source. Here we will be looking at the two main types of tradition stories in Greek Mythology - Pure Myths and Legends.

Pure Myths
These myths were an attempt to understand the natural world e.g. creation of the world and humans, nightime, the seasons etc. The myths were used to explain a lot of things that science explains today.
