Ancient
Greeks had many legends which told of heroes and their quests.
They differ from the myths because their purpose was not to
understand natural phenomena. The stories centre around mortals,
with the gods and mythological creatures often intervening
in their lives. These legends showed how the Ancient Greeks
saw their relationship with their gods.
